Malpua’s :
Ingredients:
1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Milk
1 Cup Sugar
1 Tsp Cardamom Powder
Pinch of Yellow Color
Khoya (Optional)
1 Egg
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
Method:
Heat on Milk and Sugar till Sugar gets dissolved in Milk, u do not need milk to be fully boiled just warm up till sugar gets melted, mix Cardamom powder, yellow colour in it and leave it to cool, once cooled add khoya, egg and beat both with the whisk very well, mix in flour and give this rest for 10 to 15 minutes, Before frying add 1/2 tsp of baking powder in it mix it well.
Then fill the non stick pan with oil or ghee and put the batter more than half with a ladle and fry till golden on both sides,
Notes:
"If u don’t want to add khoya or mawa in it u can leave but I have added for more richer side of it."
As u rest this batter you will have more fluffy malpuas and by adding egg u will be able to see the crispiness and net like texture on sides.
Remember to add baking powder just before frying and not with rest of the ingredients.
