Dates Dumpling :
Ingredients :
Dates mashed 250 gm (i used kalmi Dates)
Sugar 2tbsp
Semolina 1/2cup
Milk powder 2tbsp heaped dissolved in 1 1/2 cup of water .
Almonds as required
Pistachios as required
Walnuts chopped as required
Khoya optional
METHOD:
- Take a pan, add ghee , add semolina and bhonofy it till its color turns golden brown.
-Add milk made from milk powder, it should be 1 1/2 cup it will simmer as soon as u add.
-add mashed dates
-now the dates will slowly get dissolved.
- now add sugar.. u can also add honey if u like but i prefer sugar.. honeg could be added in the end according to the taste but sugar should be added at this stage ..u can also add more sugar if u want more. Its upto you
-now add the chopped almonds, pistachios kishmish , walnuts .. keep some more for garnishing ..
-add in the khoya..
-garnish and serve warm
